March 28th - Toad's Place 300 York St. New Haven, CT - Opening for Rider On The Storm. Doors open 7:30 and show starts @ 8:00. Silent Majority will take the stage about 10:00. Get ready to be blown away. ANYTIME SM takes the stage it is a show great!
April 5th - Returning to Martini's Lounge 350 Boston Post Rd., Orange, CT. Join us for another great night of Rock n' Roll at a great place. Bring some friends and party the night away.

The Original Silent Majority band was formed in the mid 70's and has been evolving ever since. The current incarnation of the band was formed in the fall of 1999 and is a local Shelton Connecticut based band. With it's ever revolving door of musicians, they now have a line-up that is very powerful and energetic. With a mix of classic rock and some very exciting new original material, Silent Majority brings to the stage something for everyone's taste and enjoyment. Showing diversity and versatility in their music, it comes through in each performance. They have on occasion, performed their music in an acoustic setting in some of the smaller venues and clubs, but are known to pull out some surprises during their regular shows.
Each member in the band comes from a different spectrum of musical taste, yet has thrived on the diversity of styles between them. They are influenced by the classic Rock & Roll bands of the 60’s and 70’s and beyond. Influences include but not limited to The Doors, Steppenwolf, The Stones, Cream, Deep Purple as well as other classic rock artists.
Silent Majority have been regulars at Toad's Place in New Haven CT over the past six years opening for some national and regional acts such as Blue Oyster Cult, NRBQ, The Derek Trucks Band, Big Shot, and Riders On The Storm to name a few. They have had the pleasure of doing some benefit shows, such as the Derby River Fest, opening for people like the Shirelles, and have played in numerous local clubs, Pig Roasts, and parties throughout the area for many years.
